Why You'll Like It
Set down a sweeping gravel driveway just off the Trelissick Road, Vine Cottage offers a home which is plentiful in character with many up to date comforts and features. With views across green rolling countryside, it's hard to believe that the city of Truro is less than 4 miles away. Stepping inside the reception hall, slate flagstone flooring adds to the country feel. There's a handy ground floor cloakroom and the gorgeous slate flooring continues through to the dining room - perfect for entertaining with French doors that open out onto a sheltered patio. The shaker style kitchen with Belfast style sink complements the interior and there is an integrated oven, hob and extractor. Just off the kitchen is a convenient utility room with a door to the garden. A lovely feature of the property is that all the reception rooms open onto the gardens allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and far reaching views even more. Upstairs you'll find three double bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms including two en-suites. The detached double garage has a useful and well appointed en-suite bedroom above it which could serve as a fourth bedroom/guest suite or an office. It has a shower room and really is a lovely self contained addition. The garage below is a large double with two electric doors.
Outside, the gardens are a delight, landscaped to the front and side of the house in a woodland style with many plants, shrubs and mature trees as well as lawned areas and a pond. To the rear, there is sun terracing which is open to the neighbouring land beyond with the boundary distinguished only by a Ha Ha (hidden wall) in true rural style giving a lovely uninterrupted view across the neighbouring fields and into the distance!
