- Former church hall with development potential
- Superb city centre location
According to the St Leonard's Church web site, the Church Hall
at Roberts Rd was built in 1890 as a Sunday School and Mission Hall. It has
been used for outreach to local people in many ways over the years and as a
meeting place for children’s groups, teenagers, community groups and church
Holiday Clubs. It has recently been used by a local Christian organisation,
Exeter House of Prayer, as a prayer space, café & community hub, but has
now become redundant.
We believe that the property offers a great deal of potential
for redevelopment, but have made no formal approach to the local planning
authority. Therefore, if a buyer is
purchasing with the intent of redeveloping the building or site, we would
recommend that they make an approach directly to Exeter City Council Planning
