Why You'll Like It
Originally a cottage built in the 18th Century, the property has been extended and remodelled over the years. In the same ownership for the last 30 years, our clients have updated and added many features resulting in a highly desirable home which has the benefit of a detached annexe and a large workshop with a log store. Set in grounds of over 2 acres there is plenty of space for a family with perhaps more than one generation coming together. The annexe is ideal for relatives or as a holiday let, or perhaps for working from home. A commercial sized workshop (42' x 12'7" max.) has light and power connected and would suit a carpenter, boat builder or anyone else needing a well appointed work space. A long driveway leads to a turning circle and parking area. There is a small separate field with its own access and the property has its own direct access to the World Heritage Site for Mining.

Where It Is
Carnkie is a semi-rural village located between the towns of Redruth and Camborne. It sits on the southern side of the lofty Carn Brea hill which is topped by a distinctive monument to Francis Basset, Lord of Dunstaville, whose family played an important role in the mining industry for many centuries.
Redruth is the nearest town where you will find a vibrant mix of independent and national retailers, bars, restaurants, cinema and theatre. Transport links are excellent with a mainline railway station with a regular service to London and the north and a good bus service. The main A30 trunk road is within easy reach.
The Penventon Hotel offers fine dining, leisure and spa facilities.
