"We fell in love with this house as soon as we walked through the front door. A lovely 1937 house with touches of art deco, large rooms and lots of character, this house is the only one of its kind on a beautiful tree-lined avenue. When we bought we knew that it was a major restoration project and we put a lot of thought into keeping the atmosphere of the period, and retaining as many original features as possible, whilst modernising it as well. The garden was also very overgrown so has been cleared and replanted with new paths, patio and driveway. This has been a house that we have thoroughly enjoyed renovating and living in and will be very sorry to leave it."
